Jennifer Li

Development Director

Born in Zhong Shan, China in Guang Dong Province, Jennifer arrived in the United States with only two English words in her vocabulary, hello and goodbye. She is now multi-lingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Saddened by her home dialect, long du (隆都話) slowly being forgotten, Jennifer remains motivated to promote multilingualism and support for language and cultural preservation. She has served over a decade in nonprofit organizations in the San Francisco community in areas of child development, health, and fundraising. Jennifer hopes to raise further awareness of the importance of dual language education through language, food, and culture with the community. She likes to travel and go on food adventures in her spare time.
